Honourable Charles Oware Tweneboah popularly called Sir COT, District Chief Executive (DCE) of Fanteakwa North in the Eastern Region of Ghana, has stated that, the New Patriotic Party’s agenda to break the eight (8) year electoral cycle demands hard work and dedication with unity.

He said that, the confidence reposed in the NPP Government that earned them victory during the 2020 general elections can not be compromised ahead of 2024 general elections.

“It took our beloved NPP hard work and dedication to win the 2020 general elections though our performance wasn’t impressive in Fanteakwa North.
This time around, we are very determined to break the eight (8) year electoral cycle with extra work, these are, completion of pending projects and programmes and unity building after our internal elections.” Stated Honourable Charles Oware Tweneboah.

Sir COT added that, he is starting the year 2022, with electoral area tour to sell Government’s achievements and find out the needs of the people to do more.
This he said, will bring governance closer to the people.

“We are going to tour all the twenty-eight (28) electoral areas in the Constituency together with the Assembly Members to have the communities engaged for Government’s achievements and other matters arising to bring governance closer to the people.” Honourable Oware Tweneboah.

The DCE mentioned the impact of COVID 19 pandemic and low Internally Generated Funds (IGF) as major challenges the District faced in 2021 and explained that, plans are far advanced to use electronic technology to generate funds for the District to maximize revenue collection in 2022.

Honourable Charles Oware Tweneboah admonished Ghanaians to abide by all the COVID 19 safety protocols and also get vaccinated since the vaccines have been made available by Government.

Sir COT, further called on all party faithfuls to embrace peace, accept whosoever is chosen after the internal elections and build a formidable force to break the eight (8) years election cycle in Ghana.
