I could not find a detailed statement from either of them explaining when or why. Older profiles still list Kemi as his wife, so what readers find depends on the date of what they read. As of the latest reports I found, the woman in the photograph had not been publicly identified, and no wedding date had been announced.

While researching, I also found websites that gave Jimmy the wrong wife, the wrong marriage year and different numbers of children. That is a reminder to check dates and sources before sharing anything about a real family.

Whatever the truth turns out to be, I hope people remember there is a family here. The public story of Jimmy Odukoya and Kemi Odukoya is one of a wedding, a ministry and two children. Anything beyond that belongs to them to tell, in their own time.
