Nicola entered the entertainment industry as a child. One of her earliest screen appearances was in the 2006 holiday comedy Deck the Halls. Further acting work followed as she moved towards larger roles in film and television.
Film roles and television recognition
Peltz gained wider visibility playing Katara in The Last Airbender, released in 2010. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, the fantasy adventure adapted the animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The part placed her at the centre of a major studio production early in her career.
She later played Bradley Martin in Bates Motel, the television drama that reimagined the early life of Norman Bates from Psycho. The series began in 2013 and gave her a recurring role in a darker, character-focused setting.
In 2014, she appeared as Tessa Yeager in Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction, alongside Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor. The film brought her to a broad international audience through an established action franchise.
Her other film credits include Affluenza, Back Roads and Holidate. Together, these projects reflect a career that has moved between large commercial productions and smaller films rather than remaining within one genre.
Writing and directing
Peltz Beckham expanded her work behind the camera with Lola, released in 2024. She wrote and directed the independent drama and played its central character, a young woman trying to build a better life for herself and her younger brother.
The project marked her feature directing debut. It also gave her a broader creative role than her earlier acting assignments, combining responsibility for the screenplay, direction and lead performance.
Lola is a significant part of her professional biography because it marks her move from performing in other filmmakers' projects to developing a film of her own.
Marriage and public life
Nicola and Brooklyn Beckham announced their engagement in 2020 and married in April 2022 at her family's estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Brooklyn is the eldest child of former footballer David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham.
Following their marriage, Nicola became widely known as Nicola Peltz Beckham. The couple regularly appear together at fashion events and share aspects of their relationship through social media.

Her connection to the Beckhams has made her a recurring subject of entertainment coverage, including reports about family relationships and alleged tensions. Such coverage should be distinguished from established biographical facts: public appearances and social media posts do not, by themselves, establish the private dynamics of a family.
Her public profile therefore spans several areas: acting, filmmaking, fashion and celebrity family life. Her screen work and directing debut remain the clearest record of her professional career.
