Recent data cited in the report showed some coastal depots in Warri and Port Harcourt selling petrol at around ₦1,330 per litre, while some Calabar depots were around ₦1,327. Lagos remained higher, with some depots selling at about ₦1,351 per litre.

That difference matters to the average Nigerian because fuel prices rarely stop at the filling station. When transport operators spend more on petrol, fares can rise.
