Yemen Airstrikes Near Sanaa Leave Dozens Dead

The Yemen airstrikes near Sanaa reportedly killed at least 22 people and injured around 30 others, according to Yemen’s Houthi-run Health Ministry on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The reported casualties have renewed concerns about civilian safety as tensions and violence continue in the war-torn country.

Houthi officials accused Saudi Arabia of being responsible for the strikes. However, the allegations had not been independently verified, and Saudi Arabia had not immediately issued a public response to the accusation in the initial reporting.

The reported attack adds to the uncertainty surrounding Yemen’s fragile security situation. The Houthis, formally known as Ansar Allah, control Sanaa and large parts of northern Yemen. The country has endured years of conflict involving rival Yemeni factions and regional powers, leaving millions of people dependent on humanitarian assistance.

For residents near the reported strike locations, the immediate concerns include medical treatment for the injured, the safety of families and the possibility of further attacks. Civilian casualties also underline the humanitarian consequences of a conflict that has repeatedly disrupted access to essential services.

As details emerge, establishing responsibility and confirming the casualty figures will be crucial. Until independent verification becomes available, claims about the perpetrators and the full extent of the damage should be treated cautiously.
